Shakshouka is a traditional North African breakfast dish which consists of eggs poached in a mildly spiced tomato, onion and bell pepper stew. Shakshouka is popular in the middle east and other parts of the world as a wholesome and yummy breakfast recipe. The eggs are cooked just a for a couple of minutes to have the yolks runny in the middle and be used as a dipping sauce for the bread. Shakshouka is best served hot with crispy toast or bread.
