A popular Korean mains recipe. Lamb bulgogi is made with sliced pieces of lamb marinated in soy sauce, sugar, garlic, green onions and sesame oil. It is grilled to perfection and is best served with steamed rice.
A popular Korean mains recipe. Lamb bulgogi is made with sliced pieces of lamb marinated in soy sauce, sugar, garlic, green onions and sesame oil. It is grilled to perfection and is best served with steamed rice.
In a bowl, combine sugar, soy sauce, garlic, green onion, sesame oil, ground black pepper and sesame seeds. Mix well.
Add lamb slices to the marinade, stir well to coat evenly and refrigerate covered for 1 hour.
In a pan, heat 2 tsp oil over medium heat.
Add the lamb to the hot pan and cook for 5-6 minutes each side.
Remove on a serving dish and serve hot with rice.
Notes: In absence of soy sauce you can use hoisin sauce. Beef can be used in place of lamb.
