A delicious Indian chicken recipe. Cream Chicken is made with curd, cream, butter, salt, pepper, green onion and green chillies. It has a very rich taste and is paired best with butter naan.
In a bowl, add 1 cup curd, ginger-garlic paste, salt, pepper, cardamom powder and 2 green chillies. Mix well, add chicken pieces and turn to coat evenly.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate to marinate overnight or at least 2 hours.
In a deep pan, heat 1 tbsp butter over medium heat and add the remaining 2 green chillies. Saute for 20 seconds and add the marinated chicken along with the marinade.
Stir the chicken well and add remaining 1 cup curd. Stir again, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the cover and cook for 30-35 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated, while stirring in between. Once the liquid has evaporated, add green onion and coriander. Cook for 5 more minutes.
Add cream, stir well, taste and adjust the seasoning. Reduce the heat to low and add remaining 1 tbsp butter and crushed kasturi methi. Give it a nice stir.
Once cooked, transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with coriander and serve hot with naan.
